Leslie Perrino

Leslie Perrino creates enameled jewelry as well as jewelry from computer motherboards.  Her unique designs are influenced by her exploration of the relationship between the universality of myth and multimedia experiences. 

Leslie began her artistic career studying theatre, detoured into nursing, and became interested in the visual arts.  This interest led her to a degree in art and an introduction to metals and jewelry, which became her media of choice.  While living in Chicago, she ran the jewelry masters program at the Evanston Art Center and later obtained her Master's degree in Metals and Jewelry from the Savanna College of Art and Design.  She has taught the art of jewelry to all age groups and continues to do so in Illinois and Wisconsin.  Currently residing in Racine, Wisconsin where she works out of her home studio, exhibiting nationally and internationally.
